TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION AND AIR-CONDITIONING SERVICING NC II COURSE

    TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION AND AIR-CONDITIONING SERVICING NC II course is the acquisition of skills and training on how to install, serve and maintain, troubleshoot, recover and recycle, and repair and retrofit transport air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. The course would also include testing and commissioning for transport air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.

    WHAT ARE THE CORE COMPETENCY SKILLS THAT NEED TO BE LEARNED?

    It also involves acquiring skills with massive importance for the improved and better performance of the practice such as:

    1. How to prepare materials and tools;
    2. How to observe procedures, specifications and manuals of instruction;
    3. How to perform mensurations and calculations
    4. How to perform basic benchwork
    5. How to perform basic electrical works
    6. How to maintain tools and equipment;
    7. How to perform housekeeping and safety practices;
    8. How to document accomplished work;
    9. How to install transport air-conditioning and refrigeration units;
    10. How to serve and maintain transport air-conditioning and refrigeration units;
    11. How to troubleshoot transport air-conditioning and refrigeration systems;
    12. How to recover and recycle refrigerant in transport air-conditioning and refrigeration systems;
    13. How to repair and retrofit transport air-conditioning and refrigeration and its accessories;  and
    14. How to perform testing and commissioning for transport air-conditioning and refrigeration units.

    HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO STUDY A TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION AND AIR-CONDITIONING SERVICING NC II COURSE?

    In order to accomplish the short term course, one has to attend classes in a minimum of 212 hours. The schedule will depend on the TESDA site you will be enrolling at.

    HOW TO BE A CERTIFIED TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION AND AIR-CONDITIONING SERVICING NC II

It will also serve as a knowing stage of their strengths and weaknesses that can either be kept or improved.  The assessors of the course are highly respected and qualified to assess the performance of the one undergoing the test. 

    A person enrolled in TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION AND AIR-CONDITIONING SERVICING NC II course may be required to undergo an assessment to determine his or her competency. In order to be a certified NC II holder, one has to undergo the said assessment before the end of course. It would be under respected and qualified professors who had been trained in testing students in this field. 

    WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS IN ENROLLING?

    These are the requirements in order to be in the course you want:

    1. PSA Birth Certificate
    2. High School or College Diploma
    3. Certified True Copy of Official Transcript of Records or Form 137
    4. Certificate of Good Moral Character or GMRC
    5. 1 x 1 and/or 2 x 2 pictures

    However, the requirements may vary depending on the school you are enrolling at. So please be advised to be in communication to the school for the possible variation of required documents.
