TESDA Crawler Crane NC II (Heavy Equipment Operator)

    TESDA Crawler Crane course is the acquisition of skills and training in transferring and lifting of heavy loads. This is often being done in construction sites or locations that need to lift heavy things and transport them to other places which are likely to be transport and manufacturing industries.

    It also involves acquiring skills with massive importance for the improved and better performance of the practice such as:

    1. How to participate in workplace communication;
    2. How to work in team environment;
    3. How to practice career professionalism;
    4. How to practice occupational health and safety procedures;
    5. How to prepare construction materials and tools;
    6. How to observe procedures, specifications and manuals of instruction;
    7. How to interpret technical drawings and plans;
    8. How to perform mensurations and calculations;
    9. How to maintain tools and equipment;
    10. How to perform pre and post-operation procedures for lifting equipment;
    11. How to perform basic preventive maintenance servicing for lifting equipment;  and
    12. How to perform productive operation for crawler crane. 

    HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO STUDY A CERTAIN COURSE?

    In order to accomplish the short term course, one has to attend classes in a minimum of 156 hours. The schedule will depend on the TESDA school you will be enrolling at.

    HOW TO BE A CERTIFIED TESDA Crawler Crane Operator?

    In every course to be taken, there will be assessments that will be made to gauge the performance of the students. It will be the time to prove the depth of their learning. It will also serve as a knowing stage of their strengths and weaknesses that can either be kept or improved.  The assessors of the course are highly respected and qualified to assess the performance of the one undergoing the test. 

    A person enrolled in this short term course may be required to undergo an assessment to determine his or her competency. In order to be a certified TESDA Crawler Crane NC II holder, one has to undergo the said assessment before the end of course. It would be under respected and qualified professors who had been trained in testing students in this field. 

    WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS IN ENROLLING?

    These are the requirements in order to be in the course you want to take Crawler Crane Operator:

    1. PSA Birth Certificate
    2. High School or College Diploma
    3. Certified True Copy of Official Transcript of Records or Form 137
    4. Certificate of Good Moral Character or GMRC
    5. 1 x 1 and/or 2 x 2 pictures

    However, the requirements may vary depending on the school you are enrolling at. So please be advised to be in communication to the school for the possible variation of required documents.
